Inspired by the principles and philosophy of life, work and social service propagated by the late Gurusaday Dutt, an ICS officer during the British Raj who was
also the founder of the “Bratachari Movement”, a social movement which had once motivated the rural and urban youth of Bengal to indulge themselves in raising
self-esteem and national awareness in the first of the 20th century, College Street Project Sixteen also strives to serve our society better through its numerous projects.

College Street Project Sixteen (CSPS), therefore, focuses on various activities which are manifold: emphasizing on cultural awareness among youth, developing child health and psychology, securing education for under privileged children and undertaking different measures for sustainable adolescent health, development and women empowerment.
